Overview
The SKC 552 long mandrel pull-type expander uses a mandrel to insert the expander plug into a drilled hole. The 30mm longer mandrel, when used in conjunction with the relevant spacer, allows for deeper setting of the expander. This pull type sealing plug can be installed in holes without counterboring and can be easily installed at angles or in difficult orientations. The SKC 552 expander is lightweight, with a case hardened steel sleeve and heat treatable steel mandrel making it ideal for weight sensitive and limited space applications.
