Overview
Series SK-SKC pull-style expanders operate in pressures up to 500 bar (7200 psi) with a 100% mechanical seal, using an anchorage system. They have a short installation length for swift sealing of holes in hydraulic bores from 3 seconds per cycle.
The SKC 550 comes in diameters from 4mm – 12 mm. The sleeve is case hardening steel for excellent wear resistance. A heat treatable mandrel with special oil film lubrication ensures efficient installation.
One piece construction, ideal for automated high production requirements using hydraulic / pneumatic hand tools with mandrel collection pod.
